Perhaps the best sign of us becoming more Corsican is how long it took us to get this post up. Pop (who we distinguish from Bop, Jackson's other grandpa, by pointing to our belly) could have rowed himself back here to do the blog himself--that is if the internet worked in our village...or really anywhere on this island.

But although much has gone on around the world since early March, nothing has really changed in Tralonca. So it actually doesn't feel like much time has passed--well, except that the woman who delivers our bread came late last Thursday.

Jackson still calls for pop when we walk by the little apartment he slept in. And he still cuddles up with his big soft frog named Herman because it feels the most like hugging pop.

It was quite an excellent visit and made us weigh the cost/benefits of trying to have a 3 parent family to raise Jackson.
On with the pictures.
