We have moved to Tralonca. For those of you who have never been to Tralonca, it's a town in the high interior mountains of Corsica. 37 people live there year round. There are no stores, although there is a bar that we're told is sometimes open (though we have yet to see that happen). The town isn't visible from the main road. In fact, it is 5 slow kilometers up cow and sheep filled slopes. Sarah's mom came a couple weeks ago, which was so wonderful for all (particularly Jackson). That brought our village number up to 38 and our family suddenly comprised nearly 10% of the town. Unfortunately that didn't pay out as expected. I was hoping for some village land distribution or lottery or something...
My computer is about to die, so these pictures will need to speak for themselves. The biggest event, of course, was the 3 feet of snow that left us stranded and without power. We used each other for heat and ate the stuffing in our couch and killed our neighbor's cat.
That was embarassing because the snow melted completely the next day, and we were able to go to the store for groceries...
